Hey Rob – just wanted to say how much I loved the Sycamore Hollow lesson. As you said, there’s a lot of very cool stuff in there that can be applied to our playing.
It’s one thing to learn a tune – but another completely to see into the mind of a musical genius (yeah that’s you buddy!) and understand a bit more what is going on consciously and subconsciously when you’re making an arrangement.
Call it musicality or super-power, that’s the special sauce that sets you aside from other technically good players.
Looking forward to learning more Blue Highway on the course.
