Hipshot Double-Shot – lubricating the lever

  Hi and thanks for inviting me to this great site!
  
  I have a Hipshot Double-Shot installed on my W/S Rob Ickes reso. After 2 years of use the lever starts to stuck when I raise it to the ‘open’ position. Please share your experience if you’ve had the same problem – should I lubricate the lever base?

  I’ve never had a problem with mine but it’s not two years old yet… It seems the rubber piece rolls along the tailpiece as you shift it— does that rubber bushing turn freely on yours? Mine does.

  UPD: I just cleaned the Double-Shot joints and the roller nut with the WD-40 cleaner and it works smooth now! I think the problem was that I played so much before lockdown, and even more during this, haha ))
